Samora has collaborated with artists including Herbie Hancock, Glenn Ligon, Daveed Diggs, MeLo-X, Sara Bareilles, and Lalah Hathaway, Christian Scott. He has presented his music in venues including Carnegie Hall, MoMA, the Sundance Film Festival, and the Kennedy Center.

A Sundance Composers Lab fellow, Samora scored the award-winning documentary “Whose Streets?” and the Field of Vision film Concussion Protocol.

He frequently collaborates with Common on many works for music & film. He wrote, produced and performed on Common's 2019 album, "Let Love" and is featured as a singer & lyricist on the 2018 album August Greene by Common, Robert Glasper, and Karriem Riggins.

Samora is the first-ever 2018 Art for Justice/Soros Justice Fellow, given in support of his upcoming multidisciplinary work, The Healing Project.
